Hello everyone!! We made MO at 2am Tuesday morning (the 22nd). It's been a whirlwind since as we've had either my brother or our niece with us. I've done LOTS of driving in the past week plus and have even more to do end of this week to take our niece home. But she's a good kid and SO worth it!
We LOVE being here (minus the humidity of course). Love living in the same house with my husband. LOL We've lived apart for long enough.
I'll update as I can.

Today is the day we head off for our new life! We'll be taking off in a bit over and hour. Showers and breakfast needs to happen. And I need to pack up my Mom's china and get computers and tv's put in the back of my Yukon. I don't trust them in the moving truck.
I'm so excited to be finally going to live on a permanent basis with my husband. He is the love of my life and he also loves me like I've never been loved before. Can't wait to get there.
It's also bittersweet as my daughter isn't coming with us. She's staying here with her Dad. But I can't blame her. It's her senior year coming up and I didn't have the heart to make her move. My parents did that to me and I hated it!! But, she'll be coming out to us a month from tomorrow. :0)
Off we go! Any and all prayers would be appreciated for traveling mercies and safety for us on the 2000+ journey across the US.

Well, today is our last day in Oregon. Only a handful of people I'll miss from here.
I'm SO ready to start a new life with my husband and family.
Today we are packing up the rental truck and getting all ready to leave early tomorrow morning. It's approx a 30 hr drive. Hoping to make it in 3 days. Please pray for us to be able to drive LOTS each day to get there. I want us to drive at least 10 hrs a day. That will still leave time to take naps during the day and to sleep in hotels at night.
Thank you everyone that has been so supportive during this last 18 months. I've been through hell and came out the other end a much wiser person. I've found my individuality again. I had lost that the last 8 yrs I was married to my ex. I've lost some good friends through it too. But that just showed me that they weren't good friends. I have definitely found out who my true friends were while going through it all. Thank you again. Some days I couldn't have made it without your friendship, kind words and advice. You all know who you are. :0)
Okay...time to get in the shower and get my buns to packing up the truck. Everyone in my house is still asleep. LOL

Good morning friends,
Today is a great day! It's one day closer to living in MO!! I have to get to the gym this morning as it's the last day I'll be able to do that til I get to MO. I'm so glad that Robert and I go to the same gym and that there are a couple of them close to where we live. My membership was paid for 2 yrs when I signed up and it's not done until April 2011. I would have hated to lose all that.
I get to pick my brother up from PDX at 12:15 today. I'll have to leave around 11am so that I can get there and go inside to meet him. After we get home, we'll eat some lunch and then go get the rental truck. It's only a couple of miles from our house here, so that's good.
I have just a little bit of stuff to finish packing up today. My son's Lego collection (LOTS to say the least), my bathroom and my clothes. My clothes are all sorted to what I'm taking, so I just need to box them up. We'll start packing in stuff tonight into the rental truck. Then we'll finish up tomorrow.
I'm SO excited about leaving on Saturday. I just want to get to Missouri and be with my HUSBAND!

Well, here I am 3 days away from moving to Missouri to be with the love of my life, my soulmate, my husband. And I'm so excited I can't stand it! lol We have waited a very long time for this and it hasn't been an easy road emotionally being apart from each other. But we have made it through and now it's time to spend the rest of our lives together. :0)
I have just a few more things to pack up today. Tomorrow I pick my brother up at PDX around lunch time. Then I pick up the Penkse truck around 2:30. Then we start loading it up. We'll finish loading up on Friday and then take off Sat morning. It's a 30 hr drive approx. and my brother will be driving the truck and me my Yukon. Going to be a long drive, but worth it. We're pushing to do it in 3 days or less. So latest we want to get there is Monday night. We will be stopping to sleep at night and also during the day as needed.
